Our very own Roma 3 Strip T&G Engineered flooring is truly great value, chosen for its strength, flexibility of installation and overall stability it really does offer you a lovely floor which will compliment any home for years to come. With it's rigid 14mm prefinished board's our Roma 3 strip has a 3mm hardwood layer on top of a 9mm spruce core, with a 2mm spruce veneer underneath. Each layer of wood is laid at right-angles, thereby counteracting the natural movement of wood in each layer and making each board extremely stable. Each board is then glued and pressed together before being sanded. Finally five coat's of special acrylic lacquers without solvents or formaldehyde are applied to the upper layer, each one hardened by UV radiation before the next one is applied. This process makes the surface hard as well as scratch-resistant whilst at the same time retaining the individual character of the wood itself.
